Tuesday, 19 December 2023Mountains of stuff over the last four weeks….
Main themes: Linux audio software (Ardour, etc), Go, music and music composition, playing the piano (tinkering with the aspiration to start that again after many years). Then, the last quarter of it is all Ruby on Rails. We’ll see how long that lasts as a Django-killer. So far, it seems to be sticking around thanks to its generators, it’s compassion towards Javascript (so that you can still do nice things with a web page without having to learn React) and Ruby, which is a nice language and takes me back to 2006…
